Genki Sushi is a globally recognised franchise known for its kaiten sushi concept and modern Japanese dining experience. UCB delivered the Genki Sushi branches at Aeon Mall 1 and Fun Mall Phnom Penh, adapting the brand’s international standards to the Cambodian construction context.

Both projects required precise coordination of interior fit-outs, mechanical and electrical systems, and finishing works to support the demands of a high-performance restaurant environment. Particular attention was given to kitchen workflows, service integration, and the specialised infrastructure required for the conveyor-belt dining system.

While each location responded to different site conditions and customer flows, both maintained the clean, efficient atmosphere associated with the Genki Sushi brand. Construction was carefully executed to meet international benchmarks while responding to the realities of Cambodia’s fast-moving retail environment.

Working within active shopping centres also required close coordination with mall operations, neighbouring tenants, and compressed construction timelines. The completed restaurants contribute to Phnom Penh’s growing contemporary dining landscape through a balance of operational efficiency and customer experience.
