Urban Cambo Builders Football Team
At Urban Cambo Builders, teamwork is at the centre of everything we do — whether on a construction site, in the office, or on the football field.
The UCB Football Team reflects the strong sense of camaraderie, collaboration, and community that exists throughout the company. Bringing together staff from across different departments and roles, the team has become a space where colleagues can connect outside of work, support one another, and strengthen the relationships that carry through into everyday projects.
While football is competitive by nature, the spirit behind the team is grounded in encouragement, trust, and collective effort. Every match becomes a reminder that success is built through communication, discipline, and people working together toward a shared goal — values that closely reflect the way UCB operates as a company.
What makes the team special is not only what happens during the game, but also the atmosphere around it. Staff, friends, and family members come together to cheer from the sidelines, creating a strong sense of connection and shared pride. The energy, laughter, and support throughout the day reflect the culture that continues to grow within the company.
For many team members, football also offers an important opportunity to step away from the pressures of work, stay active, and spend time together in a different environment. It creates space for mentorship, friendship, and mutual respect between colleagues who may otherwise only interact in professional settings.
At UCB, we believe strong teams are built both on and off the field. The same trust, coordination, and resilience that shape a football team are also essential in construction, where every successful project depends on people supporting and relying on one another.
The UCB Football Team is a reflection of this shared spirit — a reminder that teamwork extends beyond the workplace and that some of the strongest foundations are built through community, connection, and collective effort.
Together, We Build.
